I am putting these informational damage and ‘mitigation repair needed’ posts here for a number of agencies that we hope can help us. We need any and all funds for our infrastructure repairs and some of our residents are in need of funds that they have not received.<\/p>\n

As I stated in a previous post – At that Sept 2017 meeting. James Green, Parks & Aquatics Chair, reported that \u201cthe rebar on the Spillway\/Dam is eroding<\/em>\u201d and \u201cCulverts are totally blocked on River Road<\/em>\u201d.\u00a0 Although ‘temporary fixes’ were tried, the original problems are still there and have multiplied, dramatically.\u00a0 Lack of funds is our dilemma.\u00a0 Explanation of pictures:<\/p>\n

1-5 show multiple possible problems, including cracks in the concrete, areas with no rip rap, signs of water seeping under the concrete at the bottom of spillway, and a lifting of the bottom concrete between the primary and secondary spillways. #6 shows rebar that is attached to old rip rap (I hope) – in the pool, there is quite a bit of rip rap that has washed away and some new rip-rap that was put in sunk into a hole possibly below the spillway. Not sure if this is going to eventually cause a damming affect. 7-10 show various cracks at the top of the spillways and a possible ‘gapping’ between the bed of the spillways and the sides (see grass in cracks). These cracks could cause erosion of the dirt below. One thing that cannot be seen well on these pics is the two lines of green on the primary spillway. This could be algae, possibly caused by the eroding rebar mentioned above.\u00a0 Is the concrete pitting?\u00a0 Remember, as you review these, I am NOT an engineer. I just am hoping to point these things out to an engineer to get some help for us.<\/span><\/p>\n
