  1. Question please; how far back can a HOA go back to collect fees? Is it different for each association?

    1. If you are talking about Texas HOA’s, it is 4 years, BUT there are a couple of caveats about that. It is 4 years for the current owner if the HOA / POA chooses not to place a lien or bring a lawsuit against you. If they do not choose to’write it off’, past dues may be collected at the time the property changes deeded owners.
